Loss, Separation & Bereavement
Following a bereavement, a divorce or a separation, some people find it difficult to talk about the way they are feeling, especially to family and friends. It can sometimes be helpful to talk about those feelings with someone who is not connected to your day to day life, and who is able to focus on you and your concerns.
I have extensive experience of talking to people who have experienced all kinds of loss, in all kinds of ways, young and old, recent or distant memories. We know that grief is a natural part of being a human and we're not quite sure why, but people seem to need to grieve, although everyone seems to do it differently and there is no right or wrong way. I have particular experience of working with young people and ran a child bereavement service in London for over 6 years.
